We all visited the RSPB Radipole Lake reserve where we learned about these important reedbeds, and worked outside to create our own reed circles, structures and shelters. We were very lucky as no-one is normally allowed in this secret area. We learned about reed bundling and also saw some amazing warblers. It was muddy,fun and we had lunch in the reeds!

We have learned a lot about reedbeds and most of the materials we used were collected from RSPB nature reserves...
